From uninhabited islands to volcanic landscapes and remote pastoral paths, Fuerteventura is ideal for walking excursions. Spend a morning exploring the trails and secluded beaches of the uninhabited nature reserve of Lobos Island on this hiking tour. The phrase ‘getting away from it all' has never been more apt.
To start off with, you'll get a real sense of adventure on the short boat ride from Corralejo. Once ashore, you'll begin the hike, passing tiny volcanoes en route to Martiño lighthouse. Check out the views of Lanzarote from here and enjoy a snack and wine in the shade before continuing westwards past La Caldera volcano.
Then, we'll make our way towards the little fishermen's outpost of El Puertito. With nearby lagoons and volcanic beaches, there'll be time for a quick dip to refresh after the walk. And what's more, your knowledgable guide will be on hand to give you the lowdown on the flora, fauna and history throughout.
