Skiathos is bursting with rugged Aegean charm, and there are few better ways to explore the island's secret spots than with this off-road 4x4 tour. You'll venture to Evangelistria Monastery and the former capital Kastro first. Then, take wow-factor photos over Elias Bay, swim at Kechira beach and drive through the famous Mandraki forest.
Start the morning by hopping into your 4x4 and heading deep into Skiathos along paths and roads that only an all-terrain vehicle can pass through. First up is the beautiful Evangelistria Monastery, where you'll visit the museum. Next, is the former capital, Kastro. Abandoned two centuries ago, its eeriness is matched by the spectacular beauty of its location on a rocky headland.
There's a quick photo stop at the church of Agios Alexandros – famed for some of the best views on the island – before Kachira beach. Here, you'll have free time for lunch, a spot of sunbathing or a swim. Finally, we'll pass by the easy-on-the eye Elias Bay before driving through Mandraki's pistachio-green pine tree forest back to resort.
