A 215 km-long arm reaching into the sea, the Bodrum Peninsula packs a punch in the scenery stakes. And alongside its good looks, it boasts a collection of evermore charming towns, too. This private tour includes a guided visit to Turgutreis' silver mosque, souvenir shopping in a market, plus a seafront lunch Gumusluk, and free time in Yalikavak.
First up is a stop in Turgutreis. Visit its silver-domed mosque and mingle with the locals in the spice-scented bazaar before heading to Gumusluk. Enjoy free time to soak up its narrow streets and harbour, and then savour a meze lunch with views over Rabbit Island.
In the afternoon, we'll drive to Derekoy, a village so remote, few tours visit it. Learn all about the local artistic handmade pottery, before heading to the pretty seaside town of Yalikavak, which boasts an ultra-luxurious marina. You'll also get free time to shop in a local market. It'll be Yalikavak's market on a Thursday, or Turgutreis market every Saturday.
